Aptamil Stage 1 Infant Formula is a specially designed formula for newborns from birth to 6 months of age. It serves as a substitute or complement to breast milk when breastfeeding is not an option or is insufficient. How to prepare Aptamil first infant baby’s milk formula?

Because powdered milks are not sterile, failure to follow instructions may make your baby ill.

Wash hands

Wash hands and sterilize all utensils according to manufacturers’ instructions.

Boil water

Boil 1 liter of freshly run water. Leave kettle to cool for 30 minutes and no longer. Measure the required amount of water (refer to feeding guide) into a sterilized bottle. Be careful of scalding. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water.

Aptamil Milk powder

Using the scoop provided level off the powder with the built-in leveler. Do not press/heap the powder.

Bottle shake

Add the correct measure of powder to the water. Adding too many or too few scoops can be harmful. Place the sterilized teat and cap on the bottle. Hold the bottle horizontally and shake from left to right for 10 seconds, then hold it vertically and shake from top to bottom for 10 seconds.

Check temperature of feed

Cool under running tap. Check temperature of feed. Feed immediately.

How to store Aptamil 1 Formula?

Store powder in a cool, dry place. Do not refrigerate. Use powder within 4 weeks of opening.
